The thought, the soul, the tears all of us have traveled, flutter and roll, gazing at a pier…
Just a few meters from the pier, are the apartments “Mouragio“. Built on three levels, with beautiful views of the river and the sea, 8 spacious apartments, justly bear the names of winds and 8 nautical decor dominates with authentic antiques and accessories from old ships.
Seven of the rooms can accommodate from 2 to 3 people and the last and largest, is ideal for groups of up to 4 people. They are built in a way that harmonize with the surrounding natural environment, oriented north, consistently be cool on hot summer days.
In Mouragio Apartments Georgioupolis we realize how important it is nowadays to protect the environment, which is everyone’s responsibility and can be fully compatible with comfortable and enjoyable holiday.
We are open from the 1st of May until the 31st of October. We can’t wait to see you!

Georgioupolis
Georgioupolis is easily accessible either by air (Chania and Heraklion) or ship (Chania, Rethymnon and Heraklion). The fact that it is located next to the main road of the island, making it accessible to more destinations in Crete (Chania 39 km Rethymno 20 km, 98 km Heraklion, Agios Nikolaos 164 km).
The town combines successfully tavernas cafes and bars, with calm distinctive hangouts, for the romantics and those who want to “escape foremost.” It also covers all the needs of the modern traveler, offering bank, doctor and pharmacy.
As Georgioupolis is built near the northern road of the island is an ideal base for excursions to the cities of Chania and Rethymnon, which host cultural festivals this summer, the White Mountains and of course the lake Kournas, the most southerly natural lake in Europe.
